If you’re looking for Easter eggs craft idea that requires little material and time, this craft is both easy-to-make and ideal for children too.
So get ready to celebrate the Easter egg tradition by creating these precious speckled eggs. I’m sure they’ll bring you in the holiday spirit and have a great time. The fun part about this project is that you can use what you have, leftover paint or grab your fave spring colours. I’ve used paint samples from Sadolin, from theSS17 Trend Colours.
Easter is already fast approaching so let’s get started.
DIY Splatter Easter Eggs
Apply two coats of gold paint and set them dry thoroughly between each coat
Now time for the fun part! Adding speckles. Apply paint with your paint brush by using your finger to flick the brush bristles to create speckles each egg.
Once dry you arrange them on a plate as an elegant centerpiece or add a pretty ribbon so you can hang them from the ceiling. If you’re looking for something neat to put on your front door glue them to a wreath and bring a bit of spring cheer to welcome your guests.
See, so easy to transform plastic Easter eggs into precious decor eggs for your Holiday table. I loved how the result turned out and to me, these bright colours invoke the sense of nature coming alive after a long winter.
So would you go for speckled Easter eggs this year? If so, I’m sure it’ll be the perfect cherry-on-top to any Easter table. Above all, I love that you can add a name to the eggs and use them as place cards. A functional and decorative design, what’s not to love?
