Kokedama Decorations – Make this night Memorable & Fabulous
Take your green thumb to the next level for this year’s extraordinary New Year’s Eve decoration!
So you’ve probably already seen those gorgeous moss balls aka Kokedama a Japanese craft, like bonsai where plant roots are covered with soil and wrapped in moss. Today I’m going to show how you can create a fun and green twist to your NYE party decoration.
I know you must be ready for the last day in this year so I promise you this idea is super-fast and easy to make. Furthermore, there’s no mess as I’ve used artificial flowers so you don’t have to worry about the maintenance of your new string garden.
So, let’s spruce up your New Year’s Eve!
DIY Floating Kokedama Decorations
Dried or artificial moss balls (craft foam or floral foam balls wrapped in moss)
Thread or floral wire
A pair of scissors
Creating the Kokedama Decorations
Stick the pipe right through the middle of the moss ball
Thread the pipe with wire or thread, tie a knot at the end of the thread
Stick a couple of faux greenery or flowers directly into the moss ball
Add some sparkly or metallic stars and once you have the perfect arrangement, you’re done!
With these Kokedama decorations, I promise you’ll take your table decoration up a notch. These decorative balls will not only add colour and life to any party scheme but are actually super fun to make and can be created in a snap.
This idea is so versatile and allows you to create them to your own personal taste and style. The best thing about this DIY? Use this project as a striking NYE’s decor or as an enchanting everyday use that’ll add freshness to your space and last the whole year long.
So now tell me, any idea for your New Year’s Eve decorations? Would love to get some last-minute inspiration!
