When I think of Winter, I think of cozy nights cuddled by the fire, indoor family game nights, hot cocoa, and fuzzy blankets. Like I always say, it’s not just about design, it’s the way you live your life! Having the warm fuzzy blankets and the furniture to comfortably sit on the couch (or floor) to play some board games creates memories which are so important. I’ve put together some of my favorites so that you can get back to living and loving your family (and home) to make some more awesome memories.
I’ve created free designs (with shopping lists) and theres something here for everyone’s taste.
#1: Neutral + Natural Christmas Decor
This Christmas, it’s all about natural elements such as wood, but you still love your neutrals and want to incorporate them into your existing decor. I found some cozy rugs, a nice warm fireplace that you can set your flatscreen on top of, a neutral wreath to match with your decor, some decorative throw pillows, and some indoor lights to create a beautiful relaxing ambience in the room.
#2 Modern Glam Christmas Decor
#3 Traditional Christmas Decor
You like the traditional green and red christmas colors with plaid textiles and gold accents. This is how my parents decorated and it brings back so many memories for me when I see the traditional Christmas decor. In the picture above, they have added their own modern rustic twist bit by incorporating gold, some fluffy textiles, and within their accessories.
In this picture, they have updated the traditional by making it more modern within their accessories. I found some really great stuff at Target this year. It seems that traditional Christmas decor has the most selections and varieties to chose from.
You can put your own twist on any of these styles using these as a guide. Which one is your favorite?
